Grown in ideal conditions, Chile produces some of the most flavourful, nutrient-rich avocados in the world. We partnered with if Communications and the Chilean Avocado Importers Association (CAIA) to create a film that highlighted the health benefits and taste appeal of this versatile, superfood.
Aiming to increase the consumption of Chilean Hass Avocados amongst US consumers, if Communications commissioned us to create a film that would communicate the relationship between “eating well” and “playing well”. The CAIA’s sponsorship of PGA golfer, Joaquin Niemann, was leveraged in order to increase exposure and engagement.
In pre-production, the storyboard was thoughtfully planned with sequences designed to create energy and movement. Opening shots were meant to position the avocado as the “hero”, in effect, associating avocado consumption with high athletic performance. We worked closely with the Chilean talent to adjust the script and accommodate for any language barriers. We also provided oversight on music composition to design a track that helped create energy and also celebrated the Chilean roots of the CAIA.
