Danielle’s Journey into GraveL
“Gravel roads are significantly less busy, so I have really enjoyed how relaxed I feel. I can breathe - except, of course, when I am charging up hill!”
Lillooet - Guaranteed Rugged
When Derek TEED invites you to ride one of his favourite gravel routes it is recommended you drop everything and jump at the chance. Just pure magic out near Lillooet. And in mid-feb! Feel like we stole one. Thanks for having me Derek! #guaranTEEDrugged
Places We Love
In the summer of 2019 we captured an assignment with Giordana Cycling called Places We Love. We had the honour to highlight Vancouver. It was one of our favourite shoots of the year because Giordana trusted us remotely to capture the product and our friends authentically.

THE GRAVEL DOUBLE
A good friend of mine, Brett Wakefield, had an idea to bike two of Vancouver local mountains in one ride. The kicker was to not ride any tarmac whatsoever. This of course led to exhaustion, many trail checks, much laughter and questionable decisions down black diamond north shore mountain bike trails.
We named it The Double Gravel.

A SINGLE MOMENT FROM PERU - SIDETRACKED MAGAZINE
“I’m alone. I’ve never adventured at altitude. I have never bikepacked, and I know very little, if any, Spanish. I should not be here.”
Vietnam
“The streets are even more more colourful than I imagined, every inch vying for your attention.”
BIKES OR DEATH PODCAST
Patrick Farnsworth, host of the Bikes or Death podcast, and I sat down to chat about my Peru bikepacking film Admissions of an Amateur Bikepacker. We talked about being a first timer, authentic storytelling, camera gear and everything in-between.
HAIDA GWAII, BRITISH COLUMBIA
“We felt so enveloped by the island that we began to consider it for ourselves. What if we just left it all behind and lived on the edge of the world, allowing this island to overtake us even more than it already had?”
RIDER(S) AND RIG: FRANKIE, ADAM, AND BETSY THE TANDEM
“We talk with full-time adventurers Frankie and Adam Foss to get some details on their trusty 90s tandem, its mishmash of bags and components, and their recent bikepacking trip to Haida Gwaii, British Columbia.”
Giant Bicycles - Big Island Adventures
“Josh began belting out the leading vocals to one of his favourite Great Big Sea songs. For any of you who don’t know, Great Big Sea is a Canadian folk-rock band that is best known for their loud sea shanties. It was just enough madness to keep our spirits up.”
Admissions of an Amateur Bikepacker
“A stunning bikepacking trip in the Andes, Admissions, features filmmaker and cyclist Benjamin Johnson as he embarks on a self-supported bikepacking trip through the Andes.”
